Edict of Milan, AD 313

The Augustus Licinius and Constantine agreed to issue the Edict of Milan in AD 313. The edict was for freedom of worship for all religions but was particularly directed at Christians who were also allowed to recover the property they lost as a result of earlier persecutions.
