Patrick, AD 387 - 493(?)

Saint

Patrick was called the “Apostle of the Irish.” He was born in Britain as a Christian, and after being captured, spent a few years in Ireland as a herdsman. After turning more to God, he returned to Britain for education. Following this training he returned to Ireland (in AD 430) to become the “Bishop of Ireland.”
